Quick Turnaround Grants:
The Arts Commission provides quick turnaround grants, available year round for artists, schools and organizations. Grants are available for artist career advancement, planning and development, professional development, sudden opportunities, consultant services and arts learning quick turnaround. The deadline is year round. for more information.
The 2006 Report to the Governor is now available online by going to the Arizona Commission on the Arts website and clicking on Report to the Governor 2006.

Grants for the 2008 Fiscal Year:
Applicants can check on the status of their grant applications or complete their Fy2007 final reports on the Arizona Commission on the Arts website by clicking on EGOR.
Jobs in the arts are available and listed on the Arizona Commission on the Arts website.
Arizona Orchestra Association Yahoo Group:
A listserv has been created through Yahoo Groups for the Arizona Orchestra Association. Please register and make use of this wonderful tool! To use it, go to Yahoo, and click on Groups at the left side of the page. Click Sign in and enter azorchestras@yahoo.com as the Yahoo! ID, and organization as the
password. Click on the azorchestras link under My Groups, and you may begin using the listserv.

Arizona Orchestra Association is now a Sustaining Member of AMEA. Our membership will include the following benefits:
   Subscription to the Arizona Music News, a magazine published in the Fall, Winter & Spring.
   Subscription to the Arizona Music Educator, a newsletter published in the Fall and Spring.
   A copy of the Arizona Music Educator Directory, published in January.
   All pertinent AMEA mailings (i.e. information regarding in-service conferences, workshops, etc.)
   A membership certificate, suitable for framing
   An AMEA advertising/exhibit packet.
   The right to attend the annual AMEA In-Service Conference under the same fee structure as active members.
AMEA Sustaining Members will be acknowledged in a prominent place annually in the Arizona Music News.
The Arizona Orchestra Association had a meeting on Thursday, April 12, 2007 at the Arizona Commission on the Arts. The following members are the new officers of the AOA:
